Justice for Kumanjayi Walker
The Human Rights Law Centre stands in solidarity with the family of Kumanjayi Walker and the Yuendumu community today.
Human Rights Law Centre Legal Director Nick Espie said:
“A verdict has been decided but there is still a long way to go towards healing and restoring a sense of justice for the family of Kumanjayi Walker, the Yuendumu Community and all Aboriginal people in the Northern Territory.
The family have shown incredible strength and dignity throughout this process. We stand with them in support of the reforms that they have called for.”
